OK Guys i've come across this for several hours twisting methods and stuffs out of this world but I cam across on solving this kind of matter.

FIRST if your HoN was unable to update the first thing i did is to remove my self from a clan. then after that restarted hon then viola update's to the newest version.

After updating your unable to see game list or games

SOLUTION:

let's start with firewall's:
Control Panel open Windows Firewall in Exceptions tab press Add Program...
Browse for the Hon and hon_update then ok.
After doing that press Add port input any name in the Name box mine is "gamelist ports TCP" then in port number: 11438
Then press Add port again input any name again mine is "gamelist port TCP" then port numer is: 11234

do the same with
4931
4930

it suppose to be like four exceptions in your firewall mine is:

game list TCP: 11438
game list TCP: 11234
game list TCP: 4931
game list TCP: 4930

do the same way with UDP same process but now with UDP encircled. mine is:

game list UDP: 11438
game list UDP: 11234
game list UDP: 4931
game list UDP: 4930

now after doing that click ok.

NEXT STEP

go to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc"

now right click the host file and click open with notepad. or just double click it and then choose notepad to open it

paste this in the last line of the file

216.127.51.206 masterserver.hon.s2games.com

then save it. THEN VIOLA ALL IS FINE NOW
