| It's Wednesday, December 18th 2008. The self-proclaimed dac-SP1 squad gathers on the server of the opponent of ours. This should be the last match before the first day of the last Christmas break in 2008. Who isn't motivated to train then? But if only motivation would be sufficient. Lost in pre-christmas stress, some players had no time or had to play rather without train. But finally we managed some lineup on every 3 envis, willing to make an easy win of RM impossible. So we were happy to have Coke back who had no time for Trackmania the previous weeks. All exams done, he was hot and spicy for a last match this year. Also we hope to see Flo back soon. Having brought his personal confuser back to life he only waits for the usual lazy support to give him a new key. (Any volunteers to donate coppers for a new account?) Unfortunately Skiller was missing this week. Quite a huge drop out on Rally and Desert. We started with Rally, which means a home match for the so called "Rally Men". dacSP: Lolo, Freezer, Bramble RM: Hanni, Neji, Gui Having no idea about the skills of RM, we gained some hope during the warmup laps with the RM drivers being quite insonsistent. Besides, Gui's participation was still unsure. Bramble quickly invented a very bright race strategy for us which was unlikely to fail. He intended to use me as a speedster and gave himself and freezer the loving role of a goon who naturally racing for places 2 to 6. Don't know what a goon is? Then you're either french or have no idea of biology. A goon is a frequently seen urban animal although it is quite unremarkable being rather small and fat while having a shimmering coat which takes automatically the colour of your eye. Impressive, isn't it? Moreover this fantastic animal is almost impossible to catch due to his tireless endurance and an outstanding agility. But it wouldn't take us long time to see on Rally if Bramble's strategy would fit. As Gui appeared last minute and was ready to rumble, we finally started. After countless screwd rounds, the Rally Men suddenly started to perform the wingmen. I tried hard to keep up with all three opponents. It was mostly Gui who was extremely fast and Neji wasn't much weaker. So I just was forced to TA hardly to maybe save some rounds. In the meantime, Freezer had huge problems to stay on the track. He couldn't really train Rally. Whereas Bramble showed and proved that he was well trained being quite consistent. But in total, the Rally Men were faster and more consistent than we were thus a 7-3 win is totally deserved. As we expected in WU, we had only 2 players and so it was again me to take the third place. dacSP: freezer, Boumsong, Lolo RM: Arky, Neji, Gui Well things were kind of clearly here: RM was way stronger than we were. Even if I was fast here, I lacked any consistence. freezer wasn't that well prepared as he was sometimes but nevertheless showed some good work again. Boumsong could have been our goon here, but again he was pushed to risk everything. But that wasn't all yet. We gathered all the bad luck which is possible: I lost 2 laps with a huge lead at the end (one time bug, the other time massive blackout), We did things like missing the boosters at start and similar stupidness. Finally, Freezer got an Ignored Round in the last lap but that didn't change anything. To sum it all up, we were no real match for RM here ==> 1-7 loss The only spectacular event here were some connection problems of Gui. He disconnected during one lap and we had to wait several minutes for him to rejoin. After some last-minute train, Coke arrived on time on the server. Very glad about that, we welcomed him wildly. With him, our motto came which is "Eat my dust". The very creative painting, Coke gave his car and even more clever was it to paint it on the rear side of the car. Beside him, we had our usual desert-pro x-ray and I did my first Desert match since LE9. So its for dacSP: Coke, xray, Lolo for RM: Lakse, Hanni, Ervin On this very fast and intense track, all players suffered hard from crashes. xray hated the track more and more and as he drives with his heart, the times reflect his emotions  Coke was hopefully happy to be back in game, although he did not fulfil his own expectations (which are quite high btw). For a comeback after a some days without TM and train, he did quite good. Unlike x-ray, I liked the map more and more. I guess this is because it's a bit easier to do such a fast track with pad. Still I feared some turns but focused all my remaining concentration. This time it was RM to improvise with their lineup seeming pretty unsure who should drive. In more or less crashy rounds, it was mostly us with more luck or less crashes. As for that we could quickly come up with a 6-0 lead. In the following 2 rounds, Coke and x-ray took some timeout in a wonderful oasis but only to recover for a strong last round where they countervailed a crash of mine. Finally we won deserved 7-2 here. Maybe one can see by this result to what we would have been able. GG you really deserve the win, as you were better on Rally and really dominant on Snow. We can be quite satisfied with our single point imho. Even if all didn't went normal this week, our performance was not completely bullshit. With RM, we faced the probably strongest opponent in Div2. Therefore scoring 1 point is some blessing in disguise. We will try to attack again next year and will score plenty of points in the remaining matches.
