Erste DLCs im Anmarsch
In einem Interview mit IGN.com gab Infinitiy Ward bekannt, was sich im nächsten Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Download-Paket befinden wird. Neue Maps für den Online-Modus und ebenfalls neue Missionen für den Spec-Ops-Modus wird das Pack enthalten. Weitere Details und das Releasedatum wurden noch nicht bekannt gegeben.
Wenige Tage nach Release wurde bereits ein automatisches Mini-Update für Modern Warfare 2 veröffentlicht, dass die Modi 3rd-Person-Team-Tactical, Team-Deathmatch-Express und Mosh-Pit beim Online-Modus hinzufügt. Bei Mosh Pit werden zufällige Spielevarianten ausgewählt. Team-Deathmatch-Express verkürzt die Respawn Zeit und im 3rd-Person-Team-Tactical dürft ihr euren Soldaten im 3rd-Person Modus steuern (4 vs. 4).
