Neues Dashboard im Anmarsch - Xbox Live am 29. September offline
Wie Larry "Major Nelson" Herb mitteilt, wird es am 29. September zu längeren Ausfallzeiten von Xbox.com und Xbox Live kommen. Während der Online-Service komplett nicht zu erreichen ist, sollen Teile der Webseite noch eingeschränkt funktionieren. Bis zu 24 Stunden können die Wartungsarbeiten andauern und beginnen nach mitteleuropäischer Sommerzeit um 10:01 Uhr.
Der Grund für die umfangreiche Systemüberholung ist das kommende Dashboard-Update, bekannt unter dem Motto New Xbox Experience. Dessen Einführung wird vorbereitet, das Update selber wird aber noch nicht (!) veröffentlicht. Auch wird es nächste Woche keine sonstigen neuen Funktionen geben. Die New Xbox Experience steht noch ohne offiziellen Termin da und folgt später im Herbst.
